Stris & Maher files ERISA class action against the Northrup Grumman Plan

Today, Stris & Maher filed a lawsuit against Northrup Grumman’s pension plan on behalf of several thousands of its retirees. The complaint alleges that the Northrup Grumman’s plan failed to pay plaintiff John Baleja and the putative class their full retirement benefits by applying an illegal and undisclosed offset based on a tiny sum of money the retirees received many decades ago. The case is Baleja v. Northrup Grumman Space & Mission Systems Corp. Salaried Pension Plan, No. 5:17-cv-00235-JGB-SP, and is pending in the Central District of California.
