Second Circuit revives victims’ suit against BNP Paribas for involvement in Sudan Atrocities
Victims of atrocities committed in Sudan with the support of BNP Paribas were handed a second chance at justice today when the Second Circuit reversed a district court ruling about the “act of state” doctrine and sent the case back for further proceedings. Stris & Maher proudly filed an amicus brief on behalf of Members of Congress in support of this result.
