Peter Stris and John Stokes named to Lawdragon’s inaugural list of 500 Leading Special Situations Lawyers

Congratulations to our partners Peter Stris and John Stokes on their inclusion in the inaugural edition of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Special Situations Lawyers. In late 2024, we prevailed after trial in the Southern District of Texas Bankruptcy Court, obtaining a $186 million recovery on behalf of our client, an industrial-scale bitcoin mining company.

In late 2025, we secured a sweeping victory for our clients, successful video game developers, following trial in a $250 million earnout and governance dispute. The case—litigated in the Delaware Court of Chancery—generated global headlines and inspired YouTube recaps with millions of views.
