Stris & Maher Files Complaint on Behalf of Healthcare Providers Against Health Net

Sovereign Health Group is one of the largest independent behavioral treatment enterprises in the nation. Recently, with no legitimate basis, Health Net has refused to pay Sovereign fair compensation for the services it rendered to Health Net insureds.

While Sovereign is the first to file suit, it is not alone—other providers who offer behavioral and addiction treatment have reported similar baseless refusals to pay by Health Net. The Orange County Register reports on Sovereign’s suit here.
