Colleen Smith appointed to District of Idaho’s Merit Selection Panel

The Judges of the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho have selected Stris & Maher Partner Colleen R. Smith to serve on the Merit Selection Panel charged with helping select the District’s next U.S. Magistrate Judge. The panel will evaluate applicants and recommend the most qualified candidates to the Court for consideration.

Colleen brings a rare combination to the panel: she maintains a national litigation practice while remaining deeply engaged in—and a prominent member of—her home legal community in Idaho. We are proud to see Colleen entrusted with this important responsibility in shaping the future of Idaho’s federal judiciary.
