This morning, the U.S. Supreme Court granted the petition for a writ of certiorari filed by Stris & Maher in Gobeille v. Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, a major healthcare preemption case in which the firm represents the State of Vermont.
This is the second Stris & Maher case that the Court has agreed to hear next Term. It will be argued by Bridget Asay. The first, Montanile v. Board of Trustees of the National Elevator Plan, will be argued by Peter Stris in November.
