Rachel Fleischer represents plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of commercial litigation matters.
Prior to joining Stris, Rachel served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sean C. Staples and the Honorable Carmen G. McLean of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where she graduated with honors and earned a variety of awards, including the pro bono service award for completing over 250 pro bono hours.
During law school, Rachel was a member of the GW Civil and Human Rights Law Clinic, a research assistant to a professor, and interned with the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, and the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Reform, Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy. Rachel was also a member of the Public Contract Law Journal, where she wrote a Note on the government procurement of facial recognition technology, which was later published by the ABA Public Contract Law Journal.
Rachel earned both a B.A. and a B.M. from The Pennsylvania State University, where she graduated cum laude, and was a member of the Schreyer Honors College, the Presidential Leadership Academy, and a Paterno Fellows Scholar.
