- Stanford, M.A. (2026)
- Stanford, B.A. (2025)
Mobina Riazi is a Litigation Fellow at Stris & Maher, where she supports the firm’s lawyers in a wide range of matters.
Mobina received an M.A. in Communications with Honors from Stanford University in 2026 and a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Iranian Studies in 2025. At Stanford, her research centered on open-source investigation, which she used to explore emerging issues at the intersection of technology, civil liberties, and human rights. Her honors thesis, “Iranians Confront Big Brother,” tracked the censorship activities of Iran’s Digital Morality Police on Instagram, contributing to a better understanding of digital censorship methods in authoritarian regimes. With Stanford Law School’s Humanitarian Program, she helped build the evidentiary case for “School Poisonings in Iran: An Open-Source Investigation.”
Prior to joining Stris, she worked as a private investigator at Telescope Research, an analyst tracking cyberattacks at the Cyber Threat Alliance, a network navigator monitoring AI-enabled influence operations at Graphika, and a cyber threat analyst at the CyberPeace Institute in Geneva, where she led a project mapping Iranian state-linked hacktivist campaigns and contributed to the Institute’s methodology for measuring the human and environmental harms of cyberattacks.
