M. Broderick Johnson is an associate who handles complex, high-stakes litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. He has substantial appellate experience, including work on matters resulting in victories before the U.S. Supreme Court and federal courts of appeals.
Prior to joining Stris & Maher, Broderick clerked for Judge Holly A. Thomas on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Myron H. Thompson in the Middle District of Alabama.
Broderick earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was a member of the Yale Supreme Court Advocacy Clinic; an editor on the Yale Law Journal and the Yale Law & Policy Review; a teaching fellow for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project; and a researcher for the Supreme Court Commission established by President Biden.
Broderick earned a B.S. in mathematics from The University of Texas at Dallas, where he was a Terry Scholar and a member of the NCAA men’s basketball team.
