John earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a Littleton Fellow and a Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. At Northwestern University, he received his B.A., magna cum laude, in History & Political Science and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
