Law360 covers Lauren Lively’s move to Stris & Maher

In an April 2026 article, Law360 covered Lauren Almquist Lively joining Stris & Maher LLP as a partner.

The article highlights Lively’s extensive government experience, including her leadership as civil chief of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont and her work on complex matters involving healthcare systems, procurement fraud, and pandemic-related misconduct. It also mentions her role in a landmark settlement involving eBay.

“Lauren Almquist Lively is now on Stris & Maher’s team after more than 7.5 years at Vermont’s U.S. attorney’s office, where she helped secure more than $135 million in fraud settlements,” Law360 noted.

Lively told Law360 that she was drawn to Stris & Maher’s collaborative culture and its focus on complex, high-stakes litigation, as well as the opportunity to work alongside former Vermont U.S. Attorney Nikolas Kerest.

“I think coming from government, I liked the idea of a smaller practice where people work together really fluidly, rather than the more traditional, big firm level,” Lively said.
