On November 3, Elizabeth Brannen will serve on a panel with three other experts. Panelists will explore the overlaps and distinctions among the Defense Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), the Uniform Trade Secrets Act, and state-specific Trade Secrets Acts. They will also address the effects of concurrently pending state and federal cases, strategies for obtaining supplemental jurisdiction over state law-based trade secret claims, and whether the DTSA requirement for a claimant to be an owner of a trade secret differs from that of current state laws.
