Michelle Covington is a skilled advocate who has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of business litigation.

From building the factual record to evaluating important legal issues, Michelle routinely handles all aspects of the day-to-day litigation process. She has substantial experience litigating a range of complex financial disputes, including disputes over insurance coverage, corporate governance, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation, employment, and a variety of business torts, as well as qui tam actions under the False Claims Act.

Michelle received her J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, where she was an editor of Ecology Law Quarterly and the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law. During law school, Michelle served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jon S. Tigar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Michelle received her B.A. from UC Berkeley in Philosophy and her M.A. from SFSU in Philosophy.
