Michelle Covington represents clients in a variety of complex litigation and employment matters. Her litigation experience includes representing clients in breach of fiduciary litigation, partnership disputes, financial services litigation, large breach of contract cases, and a variety of business torts. She also regularly represents both companies and executives in employment cases. In addition to her litigation work, Ms. Covington regularly counsels clients on employment matters such as employee handbooks and employee policies.
Ms. Covington received her J.D. from UC Berkeley Law School, Boalt Hall. While in law school, she served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Jon S. Tigar, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. She also served as Publishing Editor and Associate Editor of Ecology Law Quarterly and Articles Editor and Student Note Editor of Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law.
Ms. Covington received her B.A. from UC Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and her M.A. from San Francisco State University in Philosophy with a focus on ethics and philosophy of law. Outside of work, she is politically engaged and enjoys watching classic movies and playing board games.
