Elizabeth Brannen to Explain Key Procedural Changes in Patent Law

Topic: Elizabeth Brannen will participate on a panel describing the new procedural requirements imposed by the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act (AIA) via webinar. The AIA represents the most significant change to the U.S. patent system since 1952 and adopts a new system for determining ownership of patent rights. The central provisions of the Act become effective in September, 2012. American Intellectual Property Law Association is hosting the webinar, and more information is available on the Association’s website.
