Medical provider claims: assignment, standing and penalties | National Forum on ERISA Litigation

The American Conference Institute has invited Dana Berkowitz to speak on a panel at the 13th National Forum on ERISA Litigation.

The National Forum on ERISA Litigation features an exceptional faculty of in-house counsel, federal judges, and leading outside counsel plaintiff and defense litigators. A number of panels this year will focus on prominent Stris & Maher representations, including Gobeille and Montanile.

Dana will speak on a panel entitled, Medical Provider Claims: Assignment, Standing and Penalties. She and other panelists will discuss lawsuits brought by medical providers against plans and insurers, assignments of patient claims to medical providers, standing under ERISA, state law and preemption concerns, and claims of fraud and discrimination.
