Morgan Feldenkris joined Stris & Maher in 2019 after graduating from the University of Virginia with a B.A. and highest honors in Political & Social Thought and History. He wrote his thesis on the historical development of the Smart Growth urban planning movement, and the gentrifying impact of affiliated developments in the diverse suburbs of Washington, D.C. and Portland, Oregon.
At UVA, Morgan was actively involved in the university and Charlottesville communities, volunteering as a middle school debate coach and docent at the Fralin Museum of Art. He also led an Alternative Spring Break trip to Portland, Oregon and received a research grant to conduct archival research on urban redevelopment in Detroit, Michigan. Morgan interned previously with local and federal government planning agencies and an environmental non-profit.
Morgan plans to attend law school after his fellowship.
